After 6 years of photographing and working with over 1000 humans to shift mindsets around body image and self esteem, Teri Hofford learned that HEART WORK IS HARD WORK. In 2018, Teri found herself running on empty, physically, emotionally, and mentally, with nothing left to give. It was the catalyst she needed to look for something beyond photography to get her through it and she found applied positive psychology. It was also during this time that she realized that the photography industry, while chock full of lighting, posing, and inspirational tutorials, had very little in the way of supporting the HUMAN behind the camera. As such, she started coaching people on mindset, limiting beliefs, and body image in 2018 and hasn’t looked back.
Now, Teri works as an educator and coach for humans like yourself, both one on one and in group settings, to give them the same life changing tools, resources, and information so that they can work on healing their own body and self image issues, thus enabling them to live a life free of diet culture, imposter syndrome, and people pleasing. Teri is the creator of Body Image Bootcamp, The Boudoir University, and the everyBODIES education platform - all dedicated to understanding the importance of body diversity. Teri is also the author of The Geode Theory: Chipping Away At Body Image and an award winning boudoir photographer.
